Thriving Transmen of Color (TTMOC) is a non-profit organization established on April 20, 2022. We are committed to fostering inclusivity and diversity while breaking down barriers within our community by offering tools and resources that empower individuals to enhance their overall quality of life. TTMOC creates intentional spaces for truth, transformation, and thriving. We’ve delivered essential resources such as gender-affirming clothing, compression garments, hygiene kits, and mutual aid items to support the immediate needs of our community. Through strategic partnerships, including Lyft we’ve distributed hundreds of ride codes to support safe transportation to medical appointments,
employment opportunities, and affirming care services. We’ve also hosted financial literacy and retirement planning workshops that directly address the economic barriers our communities face. One of our most transformative programs is the Thrive Marathon, a weekly virtual space that centers unfiltered conversations on healing, masculinity, trauma, and survival. It’s not just a meetup, it’s a movement rooted in solidarity, storytelling, and the power of collective healing. In addition to our year-round programming, we’ve created impactful youth engagement events, voter registration initiatives, and cultural celebrations that affirm the power, presence, and voices of Trans men of color across the South and beyond. Looking ahead, our vision is expansive. We are actively working toward acquiring land to establish the TTMOC Healing Center, a safe space with a transitional shelter, community garden, and trauma informed wellness services. A place where our community can breathe, rest, recover, and build without fear or compromise.
